Welcome to the HoT Tech Awards 2024

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the HoT Tech Awards 2024. The HoT Tech Awards celebrate not only the best products but, crucially, the people who make those products special. Whether it's PR executives, marketers, or, for what I think may be the first time, creators and writers as well. You can have an amazing product and tell a great story, but you need people to help spread that story to a wider audience.

Our inaugural list of winners includes seasoned executives, marketing masters, and communications captains. A few that I'd also like to recognize are MBT Jacklyn, who is amazing, and Chuck Melbour, who received way more nominations than anyone else because he does incredible work as the PR guru for Nomad. Jesse Lou, the award-winning executive at the helm of Rabbit, also deserves mention.

Best Products at CES 2024

The HoT Tech Awards also recognized some of the best products at CES this year. In a show like CES, it's hard to truly make your mark and actually have a moment. While there are many incredible products that have made our Best of CES list, there are a few I want to highlight.

We all saw Humane launch a pin recently that requires a subscription, and they killed it. Then a small company called Rabbit came along and said, 'We don't need subscriptions, and we'll make AI affordable for everybody.' LG deserves mention, and so do Samsung, because they're pushing the boundaries of what's possible with transparent televisions. One product I saw recently that I think will have an amazing impact is Audio Radar, which aims to ensure that hearing impairment doesn't stop anyone from gaming proficiently.

Most of us in this room will also recognize our sponsors. One of the sponsors has probably one of the most unique announcements this year. They are an honoree of the CES Innovation Award, built by my good friends Cracky Kevin and first-time founder Michael Fisher, aka Mr. B. Click is the real keyboard accessory you didn't know you wanted for the iPhone, and it has the potential to launch an entire category of smartphone accessories.

Thanking Our Partners

I couldn't end this speech without thanking our partners. These events take a lot of time and money to put on, and it wouldn't be possible without the help of amazing partners. Without support from Lenovo, Click, and Apostrophe, who have finally proven that you can have a commercially viable third operating system in the market, this celebration wouldn't have been possible. The great folks from all these companies are here in the room, and I highly recommend you have a chat with them.

At this point, all of you probably want to drink and not listen to me, so I'd like to ask you all to raise a glass and join me in celebrating the HoT 24 in 2024, honoring the best of CES and the great products made by our partners. Thank you all for coming!
